1. About Us

Cosy Cottage Art is a trading name of Mae Macpherson Art Studio Limited, registered in Scotland under company number SC864625, with registered office at 5 South Charlotte Street, Edinburgh, Scotland, EH2 4AN.

Cosy Cottage Art offers a curated collection of digitally created artwork inspired by quiet places, cosy homes, and gentle moments. Each piece is carefully composed and refined in-house using modern digital techniques, with a focus on warmth, calm, and thoughtful design for the home.

2. Products

All products are printed to order. Colours may vary slightly from those shown on screen due to differences in monitor settings and print processes. Sizes are approximate and may vary slightly due to trimming or stretching processes for canvas prints.

3. Pricing

All prices are listed in GBP (£) and include VAT where applicable. We reserve the right to change pricing at any time without notice. Promotional pricing may be offered for limited periods and cannot be applied retrospectively.

4. Payments

We accept all major credit and debit cards, PayPal, and other secure payment methods offered at checkout. Payment must be received in full before your order is processed.

5. Shipping & Delivery

Orders are typically dispatched within 5 working days. Delivery times may vary depending on your location and order volume during busy periods.

We currently only ship within the United Kingdom.

We are not responsible for delays caused by postal services or couriers once an item has been dispatched.

6. Returns & Refunds

All wall art is printed to order and created specifically for you once your purchase is made. As such, we are unable to accept returns or offer refunds for change-of-mind reasons, including if the artwork does not match your space or personal preferences.

Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, your right to cancel does not apply once production has begun on a made-to-order item.

If your item arrives damaged or faulty, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with clear photographs of the issue, and we will arrange a replacement or refund where appropriate.

Please ensure that sizes, framing options, and delivery details are checked carefully before placing your order.

7. Order Cancellations

If you wish to cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible. If production has not yet begun, we may be able to cancel the order and issue a full refund.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including images, text, and designs, is the property of Cosy Cottage Art and may not be copied, reproduced, or distributed without written permission.

9. Privacy Policy

Cosy Cottage Art is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss or damage arising from the use of our products or website. Our total liability in respect of any order shall not exceed the amount paid for that order.

These terms are governed by the laws of Scotland. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the United Kingdom, you will also benefit from any mandatory protections provided by the laws of your country of residence. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.

If an error affects your order, we will contact you to offer a refund or suitable alternative.

All orders are subject to acceptance. We may decline or cancel an order if a product is unavailable, if there is an error in pricing or product information, or for any other reasonable reason. In such cases, a full refund will be issued promptly.

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that all order details, including sizes, framing options, and delivery addresses, are correct at the time of purchase. We cannot be held responsible for errors entered during checkout.

16. Use of Our Artwork

All purchased artwork is for personal use only. Prints and canvases may not be reproduced, resold, edited, or used for commercial purposes without written permission. Digital or physical reproduction of our artwork is strictly prohibited.

17. Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or failure to fulfil our obligations due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to adverse weather, courier delays, strikes, power outages, or supply disruptions.

18. Age Restrictions

By placing an order on this website, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, or are purchasing with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

19. Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply in full.
